Without Silence
Josh Westover is a documentary filmmaker and presenter in Sussex. He makes documentaries, short films and corporate content for charities, organisations, businesses and individuals, with care for the people in front of the camera.
Josh is a documentary filmmaker and presenter based in Sussex. He makes documentaries, short films and content about mental health, neurodivergence, trauma, loss and the experiences people rarely see on screen.
He works on his own, from the first conversation to the final edit, so you always deal with the person who makes the film. He listens first and lets people go at their own pace. That care is why people open up on camera, and it is what shows in the finished film.
"He checked in and honoured my boundaries, he listened and validated my pauses, gave me time without rushing me."
Josh lives with non-vocal Tourette’s, ADHD and some other difficulties that he has learnt to navigate.
Josh also runs Without Silence, the platform for free stories. Read why he started it.
