We collect very little. We use no tracking cookies. When you send a form, it goes to us by email and is not stored on this website.

What we collect

• Forms: the name, email and message you send. They arrive by email. The website does not store them. They are kept securely in our private mailbox, and we keep them only as long as we need to reply and to run the project. For Directed By You, you confirm this with a tick box before you send your application.
• Server logs: our host keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and page) for security.
• Your display choice: if you choose dark or light mode, your browser remembers it on your own device. We never receive it.

Cookies and analytics

We set no cookies and run no analytics at the moment. If we add visitor counts later, we will use a cookieless tool and update this page first.

Reading aloud

The "Listen to this page" button uses your browser's own text-to-speech. We do not receive the text or any recording. Some browsers may use a voice provided online by the browser maker, which is governed by its own privacy policy. We ask the browser to use a voice on your device where one is available.

Videos

Our videos are on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play. After you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies. We use the privacy-enhanced YouTube address.

Links to other sites

We link to Buy Me a Coffee, Throne, GoFundMe and social media. Their privacy rules apply when you use them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email us at info@withoutsilence.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (UK).
